When Chalo Africa contacted me to ask if I wanted to guide a second trip to Chad in 2021, there was no hesitation. "YES! Of Course!" Sadly, the 2021 trip was doomed to be cancelled due to COVID-19. But 2022 was destined to happen. It had to! And so it did, thanks to Joel Gunter, who gathered friends and former fellow travellers together, and to the dedicated ladies at Chalo Africa, who did all the hard work - quotes, bookings, logistics, coordinating everything from afar, making sure every part of the trip went off without a hitch.
Joel, another traveller (Rob), and I have started a little trip report on SafariTalk. There are lots of photos, a few videos, and a basic description of our itinerary and what we experienced.
